  1. 1- Which of the five moral dimensions of information systems identified in this text is involved in this case?

    * Cell phones have become a staple of modern society. For most part this is a good thing: the benefits of staying connected at any time and at any location are considerable. But most american regularly talk on phone or text while they driving, as result that increased the fatalities and the accidents. (NHTSA) set out to determine the effects of using phone while driving is equivalent to 10 point reduction in IQ and. 08 blood alcohol level, which enforcement considers intoxicated.
    Cell phone caused 955 fatalities and 240000 accident in 2002. Text and talk on phone increase the risk of accident. Users of texting while driving such as the 18-29 ages group and that's 22 percent of age 35-44. The majority of accident involving mobile device use behind the wheel involve young adult. Many several things concerned, that we are able to see it, the information rights and commitments.


    2- What are the Ethical, social and political issues raised by this case?

    * 31 states have banned texting while driving the Ethical, in some form and most of those states have a full ban for phone users of all ages. The remaining states are likely to follow suit in coming years as well. President Obama also banned texting while driving for all the federal government employees in 2009. Social and Political issued have accepted the way to decreases the cars accident.

    3- Which of the ethical principles described in the text are useful for decision making about texting while driving?

    * The Ethical described in the text to remain to be connected, multitasking by texting while driving suggests that people develop addictions to the digital devices will be a risk to everybody. Safety researchers are arguing that with proper technology and that under appropriate condition, communication form moving vehicle is manageable risk. but my opinion it's still risk for everyone.
