1- Should managers monitor employee e-mail and internet usage? Why or Why not?
* From my opinion, the managers should monitor their e-mail 's employees and the internet usage. Why? Because many employees spend some time at surfing the internet or sending personal emails. More than 66% of the U.S. companies monitors their employees because they spend more time doing more personal work during the work hours. I think that the companies should monitoring their employees because they have their right and the legal to monitor the employees. Monitoring employees have positive way and negatives way, the positive way that the companies could get the employees productive, because the employees they being paid for their work hours, but the negative it might see his/her personal stuffs. Finally I would like to say the companies have the right to monitor their employees during working time.
--------------- 2-Describe an effective e-mail and web use policy for a company?
* The company's policies must use an e-mail and website to all the employees, and during the work time. The usage of the e-mail should organize the business demand, and arrange some productive benefit for the company. From my opinion, I worked for two years and we did use the emails, for example the managers used to note all the employees.
---------------- 3- Should managers inform employees that their web behavior is being monitored? or should managers monitor secretly? Why or Why not?
* The managers should inform the employees that their uses of the web is monitored. If the managers let the employees know about their computers are monitored the employees will avoid using their personal business, then they will concentrate during their work hours. My opinion about it, the managers should let the employees know about that to focus in their work.
